University of Split Library

University of Split Library is the central library of the university, a scientific and teaching institution with a research specialism in scientific study. Officially instituted in 1974, the university has grown rapidly and now caters for a student population of approximately 24,000. The library building located at the university campus, completed in 2012, offers access to around 400,000 books including a rich collection of rare and valuable books, maps and atlases, illustrations and music. The library’s primary goal is to act as a repository for material required by the faculties located in Split, and to make them available to students, academics and the public.
