Our Redcar CAMHS service has moved to a new purpose designed centre at Kirkleatham Business Park in the town. The new centre, called The Ridings, has been designed with the help of families who receive CAMHS services (child and adolescent mental health services) to make sure children and young people can be supported in surroundings suited to their age and needs. Redcar CAMHS supports children in the area including looked after children and children with learning disabilities. Ground floor facilities with wheelchair access include bright and airy therapy rooms, observation rooms, clinic space and a new art room (pictured below). There is also a waiting area for younger children and a separate waiting area for young people.
