The Punjab is the oldest North Indian restaurant in the UK, serving generations of diners in the heart of London’s theatreland. The restaurant boasts customers from all over the world and from all walks of life, including the local residents of Covent Garden. One of our most famous and popular dishes is our own Butter chicken, cooked on the bone to a recipe that has been handed down within the family since we opened in 1946.
