Our animals are free to roam 3,500 acres of the Knepp rewilding project where they can browse on a smorgasbord of organic, herb-rich pasture. Our longhorn cattle, Tamworth pigs, red and fallow deer run in natural herds of all ages and have free rein to wallow, play, crash through the scrub and behave as they would in the wild. Each year we survey the land to understand how many animals it can healthily support through winter. We cull selectively, prioritising the preservation of the herd structure, genetic fitness and diversity. We work with a trusted abattoir just 15 minutes from Knepp. Our partners share our values and we are confident in the knowledge that they work to the highest standards of animal welfare.
