Kingston Education (KEC) is a Family practice physician located at Village Surgery, 157 High St, New Malden KT3 4BH, United Kingdom.
KEC was established in 2019 by Kingston GP Chambers (KGPC) in order to meet the need for undergraduate student placements in primary care settings. Incorporated into our teaching approach are our inter-professional learning sessions which allow students the opportunity to work and learn together, benefitting from viewing patient care from the perspective of peers with alternative approaches and skills. This is an innovative approach has gained significant interest from other teaching bodies and is currently the subject of a research project funded by HEE. It is possible for students who attend on placement to receive further training upon qualifying and work within one of the 21 GP practices overseen by Kingston GP Chambers.
