Sheffield ARC: Sheffield Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre

The Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre (ARC) service provides assessment and rehabilitation treatment during the day to help improve a patient’s ability to carry out normal daily activity and also to prevent any further decline.

The service also supports people that:

have suffered a stroke or a fall
are more vulnerable and frail
suffer from degenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease (degenerative diseases become worse over time)
Treatment is provided by a range of professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists and consultant geriatricians.
