Sophocles Vlassides believes in the power of nature, in respecting its laws and not trying to define them. This attitude is undoubtedly reflected in the way he makes his wines. He seeks to maximize the original aromatic character of each variety and that is why he does not allow for any other elements to alter or overshadow the taste of his wines. Ever since 1998 upon his return to Cyprus after completing his studies, he has been working non-stop with the Cypriot vines. He bottles his first wines at the old winery in Kilani, in the centre of the village. In 2010, he decides to create his new Winery at Koloni area, near Kilani, in the heart of the wine villages of Limassol.
