The Sailing San Paolo project was born in 2018 from Michele Acones love for the sea. In love with his land, he decides to share it with the public by imagining an unconventional charter service. At the center of the project are our beautiful traditional boats, full of life stories, after historical research, he discovers that the Latin sailboats were used in the Marine Protected Area of Tavolara, for the transport of lime from the production ovens to the warehouses, their activity only ceased in the 1950s. So he decides to give a new life to the family boat which, after a careful restoration, starts sailing again.
