Purple Cross Ministries is an organization whose sole purpose is to bring awareness to churches, adequately train church leaders and collaborate those leaders with social service providers for the goal of being a bridge for victims of domestic violence. In following the Scripture, Luke 4:18 notes that church leaders are to proclaim freedom to the oppressed accordance. Educating leaders on public policies, creating a protocol for incidents, implementing pastoral care counsel for both the victim and the abuser, and creating the church as a Safe Haven will indeed improve the lives of those directly impacted by domestic violence.
