تأسست كلية مسقط عام 1996 كإحدى مؤسسات التعليم العالي الخاصة الرائدة في سلطنة عمان، مرتبطة أكاديميا بهيئة المؤهلات الأسكتلندية (SQA) وجامعة ماليزيا باهانج (UMP) ومع جامعة إستيرلنج البريطانية (UoS). Muscat College was established in the year 1996 as one of the leading private higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, academically, it is linked with the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) and the University of Malaysia Pahang (Malaysia). Also, it has a link with the University of Stirling (UK).
