ImmunoIVD is a Swedish company founded in 2015 by researchers who wanted to develop a sensitive SCID assay, suitable for usage in routine newborn screening laboratories. SCID screening gained momentum in Europe around 2015. Initially two pilot studies, one in the Netherlands and one in Sweden were conducted – with both countries deciding to choose the SPOT-it™ kits for the roll-out of national screening.
