Hawila Project is a Cultural association located at Krags Brygge, 4300 Holbæk, Denmark.
Powered by friendship and a strong vessel, we aim to transport cargo by sail and inspire others to act for change. Our wooden vessel Hawila will be sailing 60 tons of organic products as well as trainees across the Atlantic, in an emission-free way, showing that respectful, ethical, and clean transport is possible. Hawila will be used as a cultural and educational platform, to raise awareness about the way and amount of goods transported at sea., and Our aim is to contribute to pushing the global shipping industry towards a sustainable, carbon-free transport culture.
