Courtney Transport was re-established by Tom Courtney in 2011, with the original Courtney Transport business having been established in 1985 by Toms father Christy Courtney. Transport and logistics has been in the Courtney family for almost 30 years, and Tom began working in the transport business with his father during school holidays. When he finished school, he went on to work as transport and logistics manager for some of Irelands largest transport and food companies until late 2010. In that time he gained a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge of the transport industry, and now puts this experience to great use when running Courtney Transport.
