Bob Kalik Bob has almost 30 years’ experience as a qualified electrician, starting his career as a weapons electrician in the Royal Australian Navy. Bob spent many years working on gun systems on navy ships including 50 calibre machine guns, guided missile launchers and was skilled in both their operation and maintenance. He has certificates and has completed training in marine electrics, electrical maintenance, electronics, refrigerant handling, high-risk work, cabling, elevated work platforms, programmable logic controllers and telecommunications. He has also spent years obtaining safety and rescue procedure qualifications. Bob is a former teacher, working with electrical students and apprentices studying TAFE courses in Queensland.
