Andrea Black, APRN

Andrea began her career as a registered nurse in a medical-surgical setting working to gain a strong foundation in nursing. Years earlier, she had seen a family member receive comprehensive care under a nurse practitioner and was inspired by the autonomy and professionalism of this role. She made it her long-term goal to pursue her masters in nursing to become a nurse practitioner. She returned to school and completed the family nurse practitioner program at University of Nevada, Reno in 2012. She spent over 5 years in primary care and family practice before joining Sierra Neurosurgery Group in the fall of 2017.
